The Film & Media iMac Lab at FFCA North High School

From August 2023 to January 2026, I taught Film & Media Art at a charter high school in Calgary, Canada. Over the past five semesters, I have designed a new elective program, build a state of the art Media Lab and taught five semesters of the high school Film & Media from grades 9 through 12. Students in the program learn about and practice making original films & media artworks, including photography, animation, documentary and narrative films. The hundreds of student artwork examples are showcased on the Phoenix Film & Media Arts site, which is visible to the FFCA community when logged in with an FFCA account.
